Why Did I Switch From Porn Tubes To Porn Search Engines?

It’s been a while since I last used a classic porn tube. I used to be a power user of both PornHub and XVideos. I even had a list of lesser-known tubes that had slow upload rates, but they also had the type of content you don’t usually find on mainstream porn tubes. We’re talking new full-length videos in FullHD or real amateur content.

In 2020, I came across a site called Melonstube. And just so you know, this isn’t an endorsement. That’s just the first porn search engine I ever used. And I quickly switched to more general ones, because Melonstube only focuses on big tits porn. There are plenty of other porn search engines available through PornDuke if you want to check all your options.

However, since that first time, I don’t know if I used porn tubes in more than 10% of my porn searches. Whatever I want to look up, I just look it up through one of the many porn search engines available online. It makes my porn searches a lot quicker and way more efficient.

A Smoother Browsing Experience

If you’d ask me what the biggest advantage of porn search engines is, I would say that the lack of ads. When you search for porn through one of these aggregators, you use an interface that features no banner ads or pop-ups. These engines monetize their traffic by sending porn fans to different tubes with which they collaborate. And so, their interest is to make the transition as quickly as possible. That’s why I think most engines don’t display ads on their interface.

Less Aggressively Advertising Content

One other thing I like about porns earch engines is the algorithm. Or the lack of it. Mainstream porn tubes will always push content from their partners to the top search results. Porn search engines focus more on delivering the right results for you. And when you use their advanced search features, you can customize your queries in great detail. This type of search experience is usually reserved for premium porn platforms.

The Amateur Allure

There’s one more personal reason why I use porn search engines. And it has to do with my passion for amateur content. And I’m talking the real amateur. That which was uploaded by regular couples who just want to share their bedroom adventures for exhibitionist purposes. Porn tubes, on the other hand, have removed the possibility for real amateurs to anonymously upload their content.

As an example, in 2020, pornhub removed roughly 80% of its total content, as it couldn’t be verified commercially. They only offer commercial homemade porn, meaning independently produced content from OnlyFans models and couples. And while the quality of such content is higher, most of the videos lack the realness factor. Through porn search engines, I still find uploads from smaller, underground sites, where couples can still post their content anonymously.

The Downsides Of Porn Search Engines

Don’t think that it is all wonderful with this method that I use. One of the biggest drawbacks and such an annoying issue with porn search engines is the fact that they index videos that have been removed for a long time. I hate the turn off that I get from finding a video with a perfect title and thumbnail, only to discover that it’s no longer available. One other drawback is that some aggregators have quite an old interface. And it works awfully on mobile. Lucky for me, I’m more of a PC porn guy.

Conclusions

I’m not trying to convince anyone that porn aggregators are the better option. My whole point with this article was to share my experience, and maybe porn fans will find other ways in which to use these tools. Because that’s what they are: tools. Porn aggregators don’t upload content, host communities, or contribute to producing more porn in any way. But they are so damn useful.
